Tanzania Quality Summit is a platform to help SMEs and all entrepreneurs understand all quality-related aspects to enable them to grow their businesses, increase their sales and even double their production.
This is why TQS is always accompanied by a series of training from practising individuals who share the best practices in the quality industry.
For this year’s theme, “Quality Conscience: Doing the right thing” TQS dived deep into exploring the theme itself side by side with other topics including strategic management leadership and the science of measurement and calibration.
The first speaker, Ms Amina Yassin spoke about this year’s theme, Quality Conscience: Doing the right thing. Her presentation spotlighted what employers need to do to help the employees do the right thing even when no one is watching and achieve quality conscience at their workplaces.
The second presentation was delivered by Ms Haphsa Hincha shading light on strategic leadership in quality management. She spotlighted the dimensions of quality and the role of leaders in improving conscience.
The third presentation was delivered by Mr Eric Sambu who shared about ISO principles, management systems, certification schemes and accreditation bodies. Mr Sambu was followed by a panel discussion on how quality conscience can be embedded in the values of an organisation or institution.
The event was finalised with a panel discussion on measurement and calibration led by Mr Faraja Nyoni and Emmanuel Jinasa, experts in measurement and calibration.
